This “micro-granting” dinner celebrates and supports creative projects in Honolulu. A $12 donation for the night will get you soup, salad, bread and a vote. Three groups present on topics ranging from urban agriculture to social entrepreneurship, and attendees get to vote on the project they think will benefit the city most. The night promises a mix of red dress fashion and fun drag — all part of a fundraiser in which 100 percent of proceeds benefit Life Foundation. This YouTube favorite performs a live concert at The Honolulu Ridge (3280 Round Top Drive) from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. His repertoire of covers features a diverse range, from artists like Jason Derulo, to Taylor Swift and Maroon 5.
