FRESCO ITALIAN RESTAURANT

“There’s a contrast between the gin and the elderflower, and with the fresh island basil, it’s sort of a twist on a mojito. It’s crisp and it’s refreshing. It’s a good afternoon drink. The gin is not sweet and the elderflower is, so they complement each other. Basil is used in Italian cooking, so it brings the same flavor as some of our dishes. Everybody in Waikiki has the fruity tropical drinks, so it’s a little different.
