It was a throwback to the 1950s and 1960s at the most recent First Friday in Chinatown, with Mods Vs. Rockers. Various bars participated in the theme, with art shows at tattoo parlors Black Cat and Old Ironside, performances at Marks Garage and the staff at many venues donning their best retro threads. One of the main events was the Miss Hawaii Pin-Up Contest at Nextdoor. It was all a tribute to Norman Keith Collins, aka Sailor Jerry, a tattoo artist in Chinatown during that era.
