Anchor Steam is one of Thomas’ favorite beers, and Square Barrels’ executive chef suggested throwing in a rambutan, a sweet-and-sour tropical fruit.
WHAT’S IN YOUR LIQUOR CABINET?
I have Yellow Spot Irish Whiskey I brought back from San Francisco, that is my personal favorite. Green Spot is another Irish whiskey. Of course, I gotta have gin. Uncle Val’s is my favorite gin. And, of course, lots of beer and lots of wine.
WHEN YOU’RE NOT HERE, WHERE DO YOU DRINK?
Pint + Jigger and Bevy. And then when I want a slice of pizza, I go to Proof [Public House] or J.J. Dolan’s.
