When JJ Parkz, 27, showed up to work this morning, his coworkers teased him about his outfit. But we love the look.

“I just normally dress this way,” he says of his style, “so I don’t put much thought into it, actually. I am not so much of a trend follower, so I just wear things that I like.”

As a designer at Fitted Hawaii, Parkz likes to create things that he knows he would like to wear.

It tends to be a little bit chilly at the shop where Aiko Ruaburo, 18, works, so she decided to go with an outfit that will suit her for the cool air-conditioned space, as well as the outside heat.

“I was trying to balance both,” she says.
