University of Hawaii at Manoa’s student-run radio station KTUH — you know, “the station that loves you” — takes over The Safehouse in The Republik at 9 p.m. The lineup includes one-hour sets from Mr. Modular, DJ Mermaid, dj mr. nick, Sejika and Davey Shindig. The two-day fest runs from noon to 10:30 p.m. each day and also will feature a keiki zone with pony rides, a petting zoo and more. Last we checked, tickets were completely sold out for both Of Monsters and Men shows at The Republik — but we did see a few on alternative sites, like StubHub. The ticket prices might be higher at such sites, but if you’re into this Icelandic six-member band like most of Hawaii seems to be, you might want to consider it.
