Tammy Haili‘opua Baker’s play, My Boy He Play Ball, debuts to the world at Kumu Kahua Theatre. The story follows Boy Kahalewai who’s playing college football on the Mainland, hoping for a chance to turn pro.All the while, Boy’s dealing with a tense relationship with his father and discovering his Hawaiian heritage.My Boy He Play Ball takes the stage Thursday-Sunday through Dec. 6 at 8p.m. (or 2 p.m. Sundays).
