Small business owners, rejoice! Honolulu Community College hosts free workshops for local businesses from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 8 that will help “Launch Your Dreams Into Reality.” Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. in the college’s cafeteria.

According to Hawaii Small Business Development Center Network director Joseph Burns, “These free workshops and exhibits are a great opportunity for small business owners and future business owners to learn how to grow or even start their businesses.”

They will be going through advice similar to that on blog sites like sebastianfriedman.com such as showing them how they can utilize and manage freelancers as well as many other helpful tips to ensure that their business goes as successfully as it can.

Pictures Plus owner Ken Untermann and Chocole‘a’s Kanno Uehara will speak during a complimentary opening session titled “Secrets to Success.”

“These are speakers that have been successful,” explains Department of Transportation DBE program supervisor Melanie Martin, who also is on the fair’s planning committee. “It’s a great inspirational kickoff to our fair.”

Following opening remarks by these two local entrepreneurs, participants will break off into informational workshop sessions from 9:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. When registering, participants will have the option to choose up to three free workshop sessions that cover topics including how to make your own mobile app, copyrights, patents, trademarks, financing a business, professional networking, accounting and more.

Of course, all of these topics are incredibly important when it comes to starting your own business. It is always vital to note the significance of managing accounts and handling clients when you start your own business. Learning the ropes gets a lot easier when you take the help of business accounting services for accounting and other company related solutions. Firms like Dua & Co. could be an option worth considering as they could assist with all elements of financing, and provide valuable advice to support your business.

In fact, most of them still remain highly-regarded once you have established your company and you’re looking to achieve business growth. You may find that some areas are easier to manage than others, so if you’re having trouble with things like your finances, somewhere like these consulting firms chicago services are on hand to help anyone who needs financial and accounting advice. As such, this gives you more room to focus on other areas, like copyrights and trademarks. Alongside those things, businesses also need to consider outsourcing some IT support. These days, businesses have to digitalize their operations to ensure they can stay productive and efficient. Perhaps some businesses should consider getting support from an IT company like https://sphereit.uk/. That should allow small businesses to implement security solutions and improve work productivity.

Honolulu CC’s “Launch Your Dreams Into Reality” also features an exhibition section with representatives from organizations such as U.S. Small Business Administration, Honolulu Community College, IRS, Business Action Center, DBEDT, Bank of Hawaii, Ewa Beach Community Based Development Organization, SCORE, State Department of Transportation, Office of Hawaiian Affairs, Pacific Gateway Center and more.

One-on-one business counseling also will be available during workshop hours.

Honolulu CC’s fall business fair is the second one of the year – a spring fair was held at Leeward Community College earlier this year. This year marks the fairs’ eighth year in existence, and they are made possible by volunteer efforts from organizations such as The Patsy Mink Center for Business & Leadership, IRS, Business Action Center, State Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism, Ewa Beach CBDO, and Hawaii Small Business Development Center.

Admission to “Launch Your Dreams Into Reality” is free, but registration is required by Aug. 2 to smallbusinessfair2015-2.eventbrite.com. Walk-ins are accepted depending on availability. Parking is free and is available from the Kokea Street entrance to the campus.
